# 话说论坛能不能添加一个选择语言的功能

是的，所有的 Discourse 都是可以设置自己喜欢的语言，不管站点的默认语言是什么。

我们站点设置的默认语言为英文，主要是有时候为了对比设置的时候，可以找到英文的关键字，然后到拿着这个关键字到官方网站上去搜索找内容。

还有一个就是 Discourse 的中文翻译有时候感觉挺别扭，不如看英文习惯。

我挺好奇，这个站为啥默认需要用的是英语？

可以找到英文的关键字，然后到拿着这个关键字到官方网站上去搜索找内容。

有时候中文的内容不好找。

另外也就是如上面说的，觉得中文翻译太别扭，太生硬了，没有看英语习惯。

我们有一段时间把英文换成过中文，但后台管理员界面很多东西还是英文的，而且以前可以用英文搜到的配置和参数都没有办法搜到了。

就又换回来了。
